Heathcote IGA Supermarket
This project involved the redevelopment of an existing supermarket and development of a new car park. Centrum Town Planning prepared a combined planning scheme amendment request to rezone land, and permit application for the redevelopment of the supermarket. The project involved extensive engagement with Council and local residents relating to amenity, traffic, heritage, design and other considerations.
Epsom Bulky Goods and Service Station
We assisted the landowner in obtaining a planning permit for a new bulky goods development and service station on a major highway entrance to Bendigo. The proposal was particularly challenging due to the site’s location near a waterway and significant native vegetation. We were able to carefully balance competing planning objectives to satisfy Council and various referral authorities.
Kangaroo Flat CFA
Centrum Town Planning was engaged by the landowner and developer to obtain a planning permit for a new CFA headquarters in Kangaroo Flat. The project involved consideration of cultural heritage, urban design, traffic and car parking and various other planning matters. The location of the site on an arterial road involved careful consideration of road safety matters and Centrum Town Planning worked closely with consulting traffic engineers to develop appropriate responses.
