National hay exporter, Gilmac, approached Centrum Town Planning to assist in site selection and obtain approval for their new Victorian hay processing facility.  Following the selection of a site in St Arnaud, Centrum Town Planning engaged closely with Council and a range of authorities to determine the most appropriate access and siting arrangements that would balance a broad range of considerations, including bushfire risk, transport and access, design and layout and native vegetation.   The $9 million facility has been constructed and is exporting hay that is grown in the region to overseas markets.
